Graves Disease Definition:

Graves’ disease, also known as toxic diffuse goiter, is an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid.

It frequently results in and is the most common cause of hyperthyroidism and or an enlarged thyroid. Signs and symptoms of hyperthyroidism may include irritability, muscle weakness, sleeping problems, a fast heartbeat, poor tolerance of heat, diarrhea, and unintentional weight loss. Other symptoms may include thickening of the skin on the shins, known as pretibial myxedema, and eye bulging, a condition caused by Graves’ ophthalmopathy. People with Graves’ are more prone to developing eye problems.

A person is more likely to be affected if they have type 1 diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis. Smoking also increases the risk of disease and may worsen eye problems. The disorder results from an antibody, called thyroid stimulating immunoglobulin (TSI), that has a similar effect to thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). These TSI antibodies cause the thyroid gland to produce excess thyroid hormone.

Natural Treatment Of Graves Disease

Toxicity of the thyroid can be from a variety of sources, but due to the fact that Graves’ is an autoimmune disease, it is almost certain that leaky gut syndrome is the root cause of this disease.

Healing the leaky gut is of paramount importance and the two best products that I know of for healing leaky gut is bovine colostrum found in Shop Free Mart’s Immunize and Shop Free Mart Activate. Another great product for healing the gut is Shop Free Mart Siaga.

To help remove the toxic condition of the thyroid, you need water that is very hydrating. Shop Free Mart Hydration Drops increases water’s ability to hydrate. And then I recommend nano gold like that found in Shop Free Mart Pure Gold Concentrate to open up the cells so they can release whatever toxins may be found there.

The two minerals that are most closely associated with healthy thyroid function are iodine and copper. I tell people to buy cheap orange/rust colored iodine like PureDine and apply to the bottoms of the feet before going to bed. If you are lacking iodine, it will all be soaked in by morning. Do this consecutively for a few nights until it stops soaking in completely. This will indicate that your iodine levels are normal. Then periodically experiment to see if it soaks in again, indicating that your levels are less than normal.

You can also take Potassium iodide. Japanese women get an average of 12.5 mg of iodine daily from sea food and seaweed, so this is the amount of daily iodine I recommend.
Also take Shop Free Mart Pure Copper as recommended to keep the thyroid supplied with these two most important minerals for thyroid function.

Magnesium is also required for thyroid function. Shop Free Mart Pure Mag is the best form of magnesium available in the marketplace. Other common symptoms for lack of magnesium are muscle spasms, cramps, twitching and pain. All heart conditions can be related to magnesium deficiency and if you suspect a lack of magnesium (which most people are) then take Shop Free Mart Pure Mag as part of your regimen for Graves’ as well.
